Adjustable Rocker Arms

How big of camshaft can you go before you have to put adjustable rocker arms on a small block to get the correct amount of preload on the lifter.

Provided the heads were built correctly, proper stem height on the valves, you should not need adjustable rockers on a hydraulic cam in a Mopar.

Which is ok until the spring pressures put the pushrod through the rockers arms ..

I would put adjustable rockers on every install - stocker, modified, hydraulic or solid. Only way you know that you can set up perfectly.

The 1st time (and not last time) I did this was in high school in 1977:

Which is why I do this now:
I would put adjustable rockers on every install - stocker, modified, hydraulic or solid. Only way you know that you can set up perfectly.
