Need a windshield for the 70 Challenger

Hi All,

Any recommendations on a windshield? I want a clear one, with or without the matching codes!

Thanks

I just went down to the local glass supplier and ordered a windshield for the cuda.  120 bucks came in the next day!

I called a local glass shop for a windshield,
they came and installed it for I forget, about 200 bucks. they did it right here in my garage, very convenient.
Make sure they use the old style "rope" tar, so it sits high enough that there is no gap between windshileld and trim.
the new urathane bonding stuff goes on so thin it does not raise the windshield up enough toward the trim.

Thanks Guys!

I found the windshield local but they only had shaded. I looked all over and found clear ::)

I found the clear glass at O.E.M. glass in ILLinois but it was about 450. with shipping. So I went and picked up a shaded ppg piece for $140.00. It was nice. The guy there threw in the tar rope seal for free, told me I could probably put the glass in myself and if I needed help to give him a call. I put it in the next day in about 30 minutes. It sealed great, doesn't leak and best of all there are no gaps between the glass and the windshield. Thanks for the tips!
