400 block in place of a 440

found a 400/499 stroker....what will i have to change to fit it in?

motor mounts,alt brackets,headers,etc? :canada:

Alternator bracket won't fit as is. I redrilled mine. You can see it in this picture.


Your headers will still fit but they will hang lower due to the lower deck height and may hit steering box, torsion bars, steering column, and starter.
