    floor question.

    on the 1974 challenger that i just bought.. i was wondering.. what is this.. and why is it only on the driver side   :clueless:

    Folds over and covers the wire harness running down the side.

    That is the wiring channel.  The speaker wires and rear harness wire (tail lights, dome light, rear markers, fuel sender) run down that channel.  The top of it should touch the rocker once the wires are installed.
