71 Cuda bought for husband - pics of engine resto finally
« on: January 04, 2013 - 04:53:16 PM »
Last year I joined this board to ask for help in my search for a 1971 Cuda for my husband's birthday present.  For the members on this board who generously shared your knowledge, thank you thank you!  The Fellowship of the Cuda was completed and I posted a video on here (I think?) of him getting his car.  I promised to post any pics of restoration, so here they are.  He decided on a complete engine and engine compartment overhaul and also replaced all of the suspension.  Car is still at the resto guy's shop (has been there since May).  My husband has decided to add air conditioning (since the car isn't 100% stock anyway) and we are replacing the entire dash, wiring, and gauges.  He's having a really hard time finding after market custom dash builders for this car.  I guess there have been a few that have started up and gone out of business, so he's hung up on the dash project right now (any suggestions for sources on this dash thingy would be wonderful).  Anyway, thanks again and here are the pics...the last one is after the mod at the Tahoe car show...

Super awesome!  Looks fantastic!  :bananasmi:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Dave at roseville mopars will get you a good dash.

he's on here.

Great looking car   Glad to have you guys back.

Keep up the pics.

You might try using photobucker, imageshack, or other photo hosting sites.  This will help with the resizing thing
