Also, forgot to ask, I know where to pout the regulator now which is cool but where would you recommend running the Y-Block? Thanks heaps for your help too ragtop. :) Off the top of my head, would you run the supply line down the drivers side, route it carefully to the lower middle firewall, mount the Y-Block low on the firewall above the transmission and then feed the fuel rails like that? Maybe JUST prior to the fuel rails on the rear intake?

I would run the feed/y-block near the firewall, above the bellhousing, but again, not a fan of on the firewall itself.

The return, maybe run it like the OEM feed line.  Up through near the alternator/mechanical fuel pump boss.

Thanks man, I really can't think of anywhere else I could actually put the Y-Block if not on the firewall off the top of my head? I'm just waiting for Aeromotive to get back to me in regards to the -6AN line. At this stage I'll run what they say, if their kit can handle 850hp EFI NA and I have a 700hp engine then for me, it's perfectly safe/fine. I'll wait for them to confirm then post their response here (for both me and reference for anyone else looking or searching later on).  :)

You can make some bracket on the rear intake manifold rail hold down bolts to hold the y-block.

Here's a y-block -6 AN that's mountable:


I know Stage V intakes do not have holes drilled for their intakes in the rear, but you can add a couple.  Just got to line them up perfectly w/the holes in the block.

For the front for the regulator, another bracket off the coil mount boss.

Cool, thanks man! The Y-Block I have is mountable so that's fine. I think I'm going to need to fabricate brackets for both which is no drama and will result in a clean custom finish.

I just heard back from Aeromotive and this is their tech departments response:

"Hi Carl, To keep it simple, AN-06 line can handle the 340 Stealth pump at 60 PSI, which flows 72 GPH at that pressure. The back pressure at the fuel pump outlet is about 3.3 PSI higher than the pressure at the regulator, which indicates nominal flow restrictions. You’ll be fine."


I have it settled now, I will run the -6AN free flow design with the Y-Block near the rear intake and the regulator around the front.
