    i have a 1971 challenger and it is special order fm3. von is k40002. what does the 2 mean

    Please be more specific. What is a "von". Do you mean 'vin"? Are you trying to decode your fender tag?  :dunno:

    Doesn't mean much really.
    When the car was Special Ordered (Kxxxxx) it was ordered in the division that began their order with (K4000x). Your car happens to be number 2 from that order group of that day, sequence, or division.
    It is an interesting VON. The 2 does not divide it into a seperate catagory. The K4xxxx does.
