Which kick panels or a molding??
« on: January 21, 2013 - 07:03:23 PM »
I bought white kick panels and a moldings for my 73 cuda from classic industries which sells the palco brand. I put them against the metro front and rear door panels and found that the palco parts to have a grey white finish and the metro panels to be bright white. Has anyone else bought these items from palco and found it to be the same? Or is there a better brand of kick panels and a moldings that would match better to my metro panels. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your kick panels should be black.

I have seen both though the black would hide scuff marks better. Had a 73 challenger with white interior and it had black kick panels and have seen 73 cuda's at shows with white interior and white kick panels. Black would solve the kick panel issue but not the a moldings.

My white interior 70 barracuda had black kick panels. But I do believe that you could get white.  I have not seen the repop ones however.

I've never heard anything good about Palco. Metro seems to be the only game in town worth buying from.

I agree about palco though I asked them when I ordered if they were palco and was told no. Then when i went to place returns I was told that there was no way that they could know who the vendor was. Either way they are going back. I have original black kick panels but i don't have white a arms. I would order them from legendary since I bought my seat covers from them but I don't know who they get them from!

Legendary is the manufacturer. Very good products. And yes Classic would know who their vendor is. All the salesman would have to do
is call their purchasing dept. I bet Dave at Roseville could tell you every vendor he uses and what parts come from who. When you say a arms I assume you mean the A pillar trim or molding?

Oops sorry had a brain fart! Yeah a pillars sounds more like it. just received more items from them and the issues I am having are with the chrome items I ordered. I starting to wonder if it was worth saving 20% plus shipping to deal with these issues. I still have to send pictures to customer service to send these items back so I don't get charged for the shipping.
