Hey,hows it doing?
So I guess you've seen the H6P thread?
You've found the best forum for E-bodies here IMO.
Be interesting to see what you find out abt the new car.
IMO if there's a cloud over it's authenticity then do what you want with it.
If it turns out to be a real AAR,then original is where the big $$$ are.

I guess you'd have to look at it the same way you or me would look at an E38 or E49.

yea i had a read over the h6p thread. didnt buy it because its an aar. lloked at the numbers after i brought it. car will be built to what i want and maybe one day rh drive. needs to be a 70/71 for bigblock rego and it has import approval so im happy. being an aar on the books is good if i run a glass hood because i can say its the original. plan is to never sell it anyway. by the time i get it done ill prob be too old to drive it and hand it onto my kids.
looks like a great site. heaps of people willing to help out

your car should measure at it's widest point 76".

Of course you should have a little wider trailer.

You really should have a trailer that is 7' wide side to side.

re body,i checked the number on the innerguard myself , d20 option on the tag , the issue with the vin doesnt match the body style , a/c, small brakes, column auto etc . no radiator support number , dodgy inner guard number with matches the dash vin and tag , no door vin, no radiator vin (cut out) chassie vin is ummm yep , import papers , dash vin , fender tag match (missing t/a one), genuine e55 d21 a53 bs23 job on plate. I lost my deposit as i pulled out of the deal, id rather spend 50k on a semi restored AAR than restoring this .

Does it have an A/C firewall?
