Sold some parts to a drag racing legend
« on: July 08, 2012 - 10:01:35 PM »
This older guy came up Saturday wanting to buy some of my parts, he knew the guys that I share spaces with, & they said he was a drag racer.  A little while later he came back carrying a bunch of these http://www.supercar1.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5531.  They were models of his old car.  He was also one of the first drivers to get a '68 Hemi Barracuda and used to do Supercar Clinics at Plymouth dealers.  He still races a Duster.

That's pretty neato!  :grinyes:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Ed Miller is a legend in the 1/4 drag racing world and has held many records. He is a member of the Tidewater Mopar Club in Hampton Roads Virginia. He's in his 70's and still races and builds engines! Great guy and he knows his Mopars!!
