Well silver 30% or white 70%.... Love the looks of your car!!  Did you paint the trim that goes across the hood black also??  If you have closer pic of the grill.....please post them!!  The more I see the white and black the more I like it!!

This is all I could find for close up grille pix.
Yes the hood piece is painted gloss black the same as the whole nose piece, the grille piece itself and the chrome above and below the bumper are satin black

We all know a 70 4 speed project is $$$. I couldn't sell what I have and even find a project without adding $$.  I thought about looking for one and using my parts (4 speed stuff.. rally gages...) and doing the 72 for my son (his mom bought him a 69 dart father son project) but I just don't have the $$...

I REALLY like making the trim around the grill chrome...I think it will make a big difference...and wow. I can't find a 70 headlight bezel cheap!  I think I can fab something up... ;)..if anybody has a junk 70 bezel let me know...I'll put a ad on the parts wanted spot also
I think this makes the most sense. Because if worrying about the value being affected was a concern there is no way the difference can be determined. An original '70 is a step in that direction. Just enjoy the '72 and let your son enjoy it as it is and forget the value dilemma.

yea I think you are right...Im going to leave it alone....thanks dodj for the pic...helped me decide..the white with the black tail panel and blacked out grill look tough! ......the $1000+/- it would take me to switch it over is money I can use towards the interior and all the little stuff I need...or body panels for my sons 69 dart.....I do have 70 headlight bezels Im going to play with to see if I can actually make the trim around the grill just in case...its cold here in ohio and I need a winter project...and thanks everybody for all the input!

does anybody know whose car this is??
