Parking Brake Assembly

Does anyone know how this is installed as I just ordered one from Ted's and its been 20 years since I worked on my Cuda?????

How what is installed? If your talking about the foot pedal there should be 2 nuts on the wheel well side and 1 bolt on the side. You probably have to take the plastic shield off the wheelwell to get at it. Then you can get the cable off easier.

Thanks, Yea the car is Stripped down, no fenders on either. I just got the whole assembly but I think all the holes, nuts or studs were cut out when I put a new floor pan in. Maybe I can find the side stud or hole and mount it from there ?????

The mechanism mounts fairly high up on the firewall...not the floorpan.  That's not to say your car didn't need metal work where the mechanism bolts on though.  The mechanism uses studs where it goes through the firewall.  There should be two holes for the studs...then the nuts are installed from the wheelwell.  If you can't find measurements for the holes, you could remove the studs, attach the mechanism to the kick panel and mark the hole locations.

Yea I seen it today when i put the bracket there, I will have to do it that way after all as I did weld a new piece there yrs ago.
