70 manual steering

 :bigsmile:  My 70 Barracuda, needs help.   Some play in the box. Looking for info on repair, any improvements, etc. Manual box, was originally a small block now a 440, automatic.  Thanks!   GF

Send it to steer n gear an get it rebuilt!  :grinyes:

is the shaft walking up & down into the steering box ? if it is rebuilding is the best bet .
if not ther is a lock nut & adjuster screw on the top of the box , center the wheels , unlock the lock nut & turn the adjuster in , that should kill most of the play
