Brand new to mopar world.
« on: July 03, 2013 - 12:29:25 AM »
Names Mathew, grew up with fords all my life. Dream car has always been a nice fastback just haven't picked one up yet. I'm from a little town in central Oklahoma were I found the 1974 barracuda. She was a pasture rescue and has a 440 that's been modified quite a bit. Sad thing is she's gonna take a ton of time and money. My plan for her right now is complete all the body work by next year and start with an alterkations full suspension. The 440 will be stroked to a 512 and eventually ill put a procharger on her. I want to pick up a set of repro wheels but if I can find 17 or even 18 I'd be quite happy. She dosent run and whoever had her drove her hard with all the engine modifications and weight lightning they did has very little interior. Ill get pictures up as soon as I'm not in my phone.

At this time I'm 24 in the USAF doing air traffic control. Great time I found the car while I was on leave in route to my next duty station which is Alaska. Left the car at my parents place for safe keeping.  I can't wait to start ordering parts and having her shipped to our friends shop to complete all the body work.

Hey Mathew, welcome to the site!  So you found yourself a '74 Barracuda...are you sure it isn't a Cuda?  Post up some pictures when you get them.   :wavingflag:
