Newcomer from OZ
« on: April 07, 2013 - 10:47:16 PM »
Greetings from Australia,

I'm doing a '70 'cuda, 383 Magnum, 4.9 gears.  Because of it's Sublime Green color, the guys on a Mustang forum here have dubbed it "Kermit the Hulk".  I bought it a few years ago and it's a basket case.  Managed to get almost everything I was missing fromEbay and a wrecker in California.  The car is currently being pulled down and having rust cut away and there sure is a lot of rust !

My body guy wants me to get a deck lid and door skins - I know Dynacorn are doing Challenger stuff, I just don't know if those panels are interchangeable.  Can anybody help ?

Thanks

Mark

Welcome! from  :canada:

No Cuda and Challenger parts do not interchange. Stick with AMD parts! Dave from Roseville is a member on here and gives us discounts! Ne knows what parts are the best quality from the various vendors! Use his experience  to help you! I've spent thousands there myself, Dave is a great guy and help!
Happy shopping!  :2thumbs:

Welcome to the site from Oz! The Challenger has a body line going through the door and the Cuda, doesn't. Brad is absolutely right about the AMD stuff and there's a couple of members here who sell it. Good luck!

Welcome from another Aussie.
Elko in Melbourne are probably your only real supplier worthwhile in Australia.
Dealing direct with US suppliers is usually best though.
