Good for u keeping it original.
I purchased my 70 Gran Coupe 2008 all most original. It should have luggage rack also, no hockey stick. Dash, visors should match..
Deep burnt orange Met. Have all paper work, repairs, maintenance, from original owers. Buildsheet. Restoring it keeps it from more deterioration.

Build sheets were blue for the first models e-body in 1969.

lol, yes joltin joe ya nailed it~!  But seriously, didnt replace what didnt need to, nor devalued, nor polished anything to match paint just like most resto's diving in deeper to fix what wasnt right and where rust had started (ie front, rear inner fenderwells). It does not make sense to half ass a build when it is high quality and highly desirable, trust me its being well taken care of. There are no pictures of it with any new paint, because it doesnt have any yet - the rear quarter panel, front fender, and door had been repainted at somepoint early on from what looks like a small sideswipe  (easy to notice r/t only on one sidestripe)  The whole car will be painted top and bottom in and out.

Sorry the thread did not keep up to your pace joe, i also have drag cars, business, and 2 kids/wife that i put allot of time and $ into also- i do not live on the web.

I will grab some current pics and post them with an update on the devaluation of my challenger - thanks to everyone else with the positive feedback i gotta run, heard they got a sale on brains over saks fifth ave - ;)  - Kris

Looking good and watching what you did with the quarters I love those pics that get in there!! I see where you drilled out the spot welds  :2thumbs: I am inexperienced at this and your pics get my gears turning. I will be doing this with at least 1 quarterpanel.  :cooldancing:

My bad man.  I don't even recognize how that post related to your thread.  I had a stroke and may have thought I was typing that into another thread as I use multiple windows sometime.  Sorry about that.

It wasnt this one on ebay, been pretty busy with work bought a chassis dyno (have some mopar vids including a 70 dart putting some hp down on facebook.com/alloutautomotive) and drag stuff still eats allot my car fund but its finally getting close! Mopar body work done, my buddy doing it wound up taking all the body parts off and correcting each panel he put more time into this beautiful car than i would have ever expected I am amazed at his attention to detail. It is ready for its orange coating to be reapplied and then a little interior and trim detailing and i think it will be done...but you all know how these resto's go when you do them right! Heres some pics from the months missed

Nice find. I love the burnt orange interior and it is cool seeing another without the wood grain in the doors.
