What years determined the color of the Mopar Rallye wheel centers. Being only two colors dark & light....

If I'm not mistaken, 1970 is light, 1971 is dark. Not sure for 1972-1974 though...

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971. Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Correct, 70 is light, 71 is dark, in 72 they changed the style to the "larger" style, and either 75 or 76 they added a relief to that one.

There is a step on the outer edge of the acorn, the 72 design is "straight" across

72-74 came with with the pentagon shaped center cap. I like the look of the earlier 70-71 caps, but went with the correct OEM caps for my 73 Barracuda.
