Total Newb from Ohio
« on: April 19, 2013 - 01:42:30 PM »
FINALLY getting serious about restoring my FE5 70 AAR Cuda.  After browsing the forums numerous times, I decided this was one of the most informative sites I've found on the web.  I look forward to helping when I can and being helped by others on the forums.

It's not that pretty to look at right now, however it is numbers matching, 70k original miles and I'm the 3rd owner - bought it in 1977.

Russ - thanks for the welcome !  The interior is RED also (H6E4)  which seems to be a little unusual.  Most of the FE5 AARs I've seen with black vinyl top seem to have black interiors.  That's what my choice would have been if I bought it new, but I'll restore it back to the red interior.   I saw one exactly like mine at the Mopar Nats. a few years ago, I think the guy was from Wisconsin or Minnesota.
