Toronto classic auction results
« on: April 14, 2013 - 10:30:51 AM »
I went to the auction yesterday and thought some of you might be interested in a few sale results. There were two Cudas and a Challenger sold yesterday. Go to www.ccpauctions.com to view details of each car. Click on View Lot List then click on Sat.

Half way down page 3 is a 72 340 Cuda beautifully restored sold for 30,000

Bottom of page 4 is a 70 AAR panther pink 340 Cuda sold for 63,000

Top of page5 is a 70 Challenger TA clone (no it's not Brad's) sold for 35,000

Fair prices, nothing really out of the ordinary. Guy paid too much for the 72 in my opinion... :2cents:

In my newbie opinion, that 70 TA clone looks awesome. Super clean, and a good buy if it runs well.
Looked closely at their pictures and one is of a different car. Really good pictures of the underside.
With a buyers premium they paid mid to high $30s. Not bad, even for a small block clone.
Wish mine were that clean and painted underneath, although I probably should be happy with mine being undercoated. That way I dont have to clean down there every time I take the car to a show. That must be a PITA.

Yes it lists the transmission as 4 speed but in the bigger write-up it says slap stick T-handle automatic. I notice in the picture of the shifter the gear selection plate reads P RND21 and then there something after the 1. I can't make out what it is. Does anyone know? I don't think I have that on my Challenger. Also, is that steering wheel year correct? it's the same one as in my 74 C.
