Help:

Does any one know of any one who makes custom rack and pinion units?

I need a rack and pinion unit with the following specs. or as close to this as possable.

Rack needs to be a rear stear with a total travel of 6 1/4 inch, inter tie rod pivit points need to be at 24 1/2", over all length needs to be� 48"

I found a couple of places that can make a rack to my specs.

I do think I will look at the 5.5" travel rack. I made a couple of test fixtures and it looks like the 24" inter tie rod pivit point is going to be better than the 24.5" like the center link was. The 24" center pivit seems to be more of a standard. The Mustang II racks are at 24"center pivit
