Hey gang..
Well, got the attach hardware kit for Hoss' '71 Challenger R/T from Tom. Unfortunately, the FSM for '71 shows the grille illustration for a '70 Challenger. Some of this hardware is obvious. The parts I have questions are the 5 plugs and the placement of the screws. I know there are 4 of the silver ones on the outboard points of the grille header and if I'm not mistaken, there are 4 attach points on the center support structure where the hood latch is. The small clips go to the fenders for the headlamp bezels. What holds the headlamp bezels to the grille? I see where there are two holes on each headlamp bezel that overlaps the grille.

Thanks in advance..
Troy

The five push plugs go along the top through the plastic grill into the metal filler panel. The four black screws secure the inside of the headlight bezels to the grill. Your grill will need 4 black sliding retainers for the headlight bezels.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Hey gang,
Part 2...

Fender spacing.. I have measurements here of Hoss' Challenger R/T. I'm trying to make sure the fender positioning is proper. I've reference the middle support and hopefully you all can get me going. There's impressions of the position of the attach points for the grille header on the passenger side which indicates the fender needs to be moved outward about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. But, I didn't think the fenders could move a whole lot outwardly. Regardless, the extreme corners of the grille when positioned in the opening don't seem to fit properly, hence me thinking the fenders need to be moved slightly.. Here's the measurements I have..

Thanks in advance....

3.  Driver's side

5.  Measurements from one inner edge to the other inner edge at the spot of the forward-most bumper
