    I just received my June 2013  :screwy: issue of MOPAR COLLECTOR'S GUIDE magazine.
    They feature a short write up on a "barn find" AAR Cuda. Page 60-62.

    My question is about the bottom picture on page 62. What the heck is it ? It looks like a picture of an 8 3/4 center chunk, but it has a weird casting number that appears to end in "T/A" ????? :clueless:

    In 30+ years of being in this hobby I've never heard of special rear center sections for Trans Am cars ?

    I was thinking the same thing. Mine had the oem rear end and it didn't have a T/A cast after the number.

    Mine is stock 3:91 and only has the 489 casting number. That chunk is a 2070741 casting. I don't think original.

    That makes sense...Now that I look for the number you posted, I can see it in the picture.....At first it looked like T/A to me :screwy: :drunk:

    My AAR has a 489 case as well...
