My 2013 challenger R/T doesn't sound any different than any other new car and doesn't have that "muscle car exhaust note" that my dealer advertisement booklet they have inside the dealership says. What new exhaust system will work on these 5.7 hemis that will give a great sound when  starting, ideling  or when cruising without any annoying drone when the 4 cylinders shut down in eco mode ? do the resonators prevent better sound ? what DO they do ?

They control drone, especially in 4 cyl mode.  I bought a second factory exhaust and cut the resonators off.  It sounded much better but the drone on the highway was awful.  I ended up putting the factory system back in.
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

I wonder then HOW to get a deeper sound without drone ? if you leave resonators on, will it quiet all other mufflers like borla or flowmasters etc. ?

A friend had Corsa extremes and they sounded good, with little or no drone.  He liked them.  They were on his '11 SRT Challenger.  They are not super loud, a bit more throatier than stock.

Tman was his challenger a stick or automatic ? I understand the sticks don't have resonators just the auto trannys do & I think that is why the resonators take away any sound improvement.

corsa extremes on a 2010 r/t with dynatech long tube headers. It sounds very throaty and still has the corsa resonators on it.  MDS mode is still turned on and there is ZERO drone even with the long tubes...

The 6 SPD also has resonators but not the suitcase style in the automatic. How loud do you want? Most popular is Zoomers. There are too many choices. Best to hear them in person at club meet or car shows. I have the Magnaflow Street Series, not loud regular driving until you step on it. No drone after a few hundred miles of burn in.
