    changing standard console to automatic console in 1970 challenger

    I have a 1970 ebody challenger and want to know if the automatic console is the same as the standard console. :clueless: :feedback:

    The top plate is different you need one for a 4 speed and you have to trim the side a little for shifter clearance. Some one here probably has the template or you can buy one somewhere.

    The Auto consoles are far more common , you can modify an auto console for 4 spd but not the other way
