I saw this one this morning but it appears it sold on ebay already. Anyway might be worth a call. I'd buy it if I was closer. Looks like a great deal but it's most likely gone.

I appreciate it guys. Seeing that exact car is actually what created the "itch" to get a challenger/cuda convertible.

I used to have a 72 barracuda but sold it to finance my current charger which in my opinion is pretty bad ass. Now I am thinking I should have a convertible. I hardly ever see 4-speed charger R/T. Let alone ones that are not on either of the two sides of the spectrum (100% complete or complete rust bucket). So it is a tough decision to me.

I also have a 09 challenger, which is the 1st hurst equipt challenger, signed by all the guys at Hurst (RIP). Heck I was even thinking about selling both cars, getting a really nice cuda/chally and with whatever's left, buying a beater car for the weekdays.

thoughts? any more finds?

What condition of car do you think you will be able to get for $30k?   Running, not running? Unrestored? Basket case?  I've seen a 70 barracuda for sale in So.cal for $39k.  Maybe make an offer?

I would think atleast a lot optioned, non-matching, running car. Definitely not a basket case.

I would love a convertible, but would still be really happy with a 4-speed 70 or 71 challenger or cuda/barracuda. I am constantly looking.

let me know if someone hears of something!
