Fresh Air Duct Cowl elimination?
« on: April 28, 2013 - 06:47:38 PM »
So work has finally started on my 70 Challenger. The shop doing the metal work sent some pics and asked if I wanted to get rid of the fresh air ducts in the cowl. I had not tought about this and would like to get some opinions on this. My car is a non-air car but I will be installing a vintage air set up.

So what might be the pros and cons of remoing the ducts?

See pic

Thanks for your input.

Maybe close off driver's side, but you still need outside air source to draw from.  i think the AC cars only had the passenger side open.

Car would take long time to cool, if you only recycled the cabin air after sitting in sun for awhile.
