Front Tire Tip
« on: April 24, 2013 - 10:48:53 PM »
I use to have BFGs on the front of my Cuda, but Bridgestone make an Ecopia tire, that is 10 lbs lighter than the
BFG, and has low rolling risistence, and inflates to around 42-45 pounds. They use them for Hybrid cars to get better
mileage.  Gives a nice ride, and will make you quicker off the line! I use a smaller more narrow Ecopia tire, to give me a
better stance too, and it looks more dragster, with the big Mickey Thompsons in the back! Anything to look more "badass"!
Anything to go faster!!

PS Its also 10 lbs each less of unsprung weight, and 10 lbs each of less rotational mass.

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
