Click on the additional information, many pages of handwritten notes, build sheet, window sticker, etc. how someone kept all that paperwork so clean for all this time is pretty cool

I remember this car, it was on the cover of Hemmings muscle magazine a few years ago, really good write up about the history, including losing the original motor street racing

Stories like this are really cool!  I love the exchange of information and documentation that truly brings are car to life.  Sure is one sweet ride and nice to hear it doesn't get trailered around from show to show....

:grinyes:  Great looking car!  Love the old school tires and rims!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

At first I thought this was the cover car from a Hemi book I bought some 20+ years ago. But it appears that the striping on the hood is different, as are the wheels, obv.

Yes, the hood stripe is different but looking at the cover shot from the auction site, those look like the same rims.  Hard to tell as the car is moving but they look like the satin daisy rims, not chrome Cragar S/S rims. Very close looking cars.  :grinyes:
