Ashtray Nylon/Plastic Glides?
« on: May 12, 2013 - 08:38:36 PM »
Does anyone know if these are available, and if so, where?  I broke one of mine when removing it.  I am having the tray re-plated, and needed the glides removed for this.  It seems that they are common to ashtrays from various brands/models/years.  First photo is of the undamaged one I have left.  The other three photos are of other ashtrays with similar/same "glides".  They are either made of plastic or nylon, but I'm not sure if they are called "glides".  I searched the internet using all the "key words" I could think of, but no luck.  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

Very interesting!!  Those might actually work.  I see there are two different sizes.  I'll have to measure mine to compare dimensions.  At worst, I could get the closest matching size, and modify to fit.  Thanks very much for the link.  Don't know how you found those, but nice work.
