auto to manual reverse wire guestion

How do I make my auto reverse light (to transmission) to a manual one.

I know the aoto is a three wire configiration and the manula one is two, so can I just combine the two wires to one? and what two colors would be tied togrther?

The harness has 3 wires , the two outer wires are black & are the in & out for the reverse lights & can be connected to the reverse switch , the 3 rd wire is brown & is the ground for the start relay it would normally connect to the clutch pedal start switch or you can just ground it so it will start at anytime
