What's this trim?
« on: May 17, 2013 - 01:06:53 AM »
This trim is over the doors on my car, and the backseat window exterior... It's stainless, factory holes and gear. I've been looking but don't see any or many other Challengers with it, but found a Moparts thread where a guy with it used a different fastener for it.

 :dunno:

I found a Barracuda/Cuda fastener via Year One that will work...(I think) as a large number of them had this trim. Anyone else here have it?

No answer for you, but resized your pic to make it easier to see.

Called upper belt molding. Came on all gran coupes and cudas (except AAR) it was an option on Barracuda. M25 is the RPO code I believe.

My 70 gran coupe and 73 'Cuda had it

His image is a Challenger, though, isn't it? I could swear I see a pointed crown line at the bottom of the pic.

Yep, his is a challenger. I was just identifying what it was called in the barracuda. I assume it is the same name ? I know they won't interchange between models, but maybe they have the same name? I dunno

Thanks guys. So it is in fact part of the SE package. That's what I was wondering. It doesn't have holes drilled in it Chryco, but the door was drilled for the fasteners that slide in the back of the piece.

Thanks again for the info!
