BIGS,used a conabear trap to get em i see.used to trap myself many years ago where i grew up in the upper michigan.

That's a nice one. They can get pretty big (and yes, extremely destructive). I once saw one that was so big (it was standing up on it's back legs) that I thought it was a young bear cub!!

Yep, that conabear did him in! We had a tree line of poplars between our fence and the river. The city was reaaly BIG on having the screening. Heavan forbid someone see's a wrecked car. I have 1 mature tree left....    And go in front of the zoneing board in 2 months...

As much as they are a national icon they are also a pain in the rear. Every year we go and burn the beaverdams near the cottage to stop them from baking up water. Some of those damns can hold back incredible amounts of water that cause unreal destruction (roads wash out, flooding, erroding foundations etc...)
