Thought I'd share an update on my seat-track stud replacement.  In an earlier post, I included three links to possible replacements.
The one that worked the best was this: http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/0155067 (The others were not quite right).

Following are some photos showing one of the replacement studs/bolts in place (temporarily).  These have a shorter square neck in comparison to the neck on a standard carriage bolt.  They are perfect for the thickness of seat track.  These will be loosely secured to the seat track by using 5/16" push nuts.  These Grade-5 bolts were inexpensive (as you can see from the last photos of the invoice).  I only needed four because only the inboard studs were cut short by the previous owner.  Hope this helps others who might need a cheap, but effective solution to replacing their seat track studs.

Hey Nice CAR!!   I believe your car was originally done by Ed Belfour's (ex-NHL goalie) shop in Michigan??

In your travels or research, did you discover where to get the tensioner strap for the cable that releases the track?   My driver side is missing and won't operate due to lack of tension.    Do you happen to know where I can find these?

Thanks .... CHAPS

AMAZING, that you know who the previous owner of my car was!!  How???  Yes, the car was his, and done by his shop in Michigan; "Carman Custom".  They used to have a website, but it's not been active for quite some time now.  I never needed to search for the "strap", because my driver's seat had it.  (See photo).  If you can't find one, I'm sure (by looking at it) that you can probably easily make one.  I can take measurements of mine and let you know if you need.
