Found Another Late Model B Body

I've come up with another B body, just wanted to get some input before I decide to buy. This is a 74 Dodge Charger SE with everything there, some of it has been diss-assembled but the parts are all there, it has a good body and the original 400 is still in it. Any ideas on what something like this would be worth? Needs complete interior and quite a bit to get it back to road worthy but very do-able. Has AT, PS PB AC. Will try to get some pictures this week.

Whew, that's a bit out of my range Ghost, hope you are right, I can get it for much less than that I hope. I have to call the guy in a couple of days with an offer. Thanks you guys.

Plum those things arent worth 5k. Unless it was in real nice shape all ready running down the road with no rust etc etc. burpin personally dont like them and think the charger died with the gen III came out. except burpin didnt know that till about 85 when Burpin learned what they were. I was going with the #s matching BB.  Also, the A/C.  And, $5k would be what I'd be willing to pay.

  If you have an itch for a 74 Charger, the SE is the way to go. They aren't in much demand, but I have to say I like 'em. :thumbs: Those louvered rear side windows look good. Like was mentioned, you can easily get one that runs and is in decent shape for 5K or less. It's your call as to how high to go since we don't have pics to help you.

Thanks everyone, even you Burpin, your opinion is valuble too!  :thumbs:  I am going to check it out tomorrow if I can arrange it with the owner. I really didn't spend much time looking it over when I first saw it cause the owner wasn't home and I didn't want to get caught snooping through his car so I just left a business card in his front door. Found out when he called me that he drove it to where it is setting now and got just a few details is all. Not sure what I will do with it yet but there are a lot of good parts if nothing else. The 400 can be built into a killer engine too, not that I really need this right now but there's always my grandkids to think about you know! I will only pick it up if I can get it for less than cheap! I'll let you know what I find out and hopefully post a couple of pics.
