What size connections to power steering gear box?
« on: May 28, 2013 - 05:25:16 PM »
Does anyone know the exact dimensions and thread count of the factory power steering gear box?

I need to find out the connection size for the gear box and the 3g hemi truck power steering pump so I can get a hose made to connect the two.

If anyone has done this and can hook me up, I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks,
Chris

it is an inverted flare so it should be a std flare thread , I recall the nut size is 5/8" not sure what exact thread pitch & count though , can you match it from an old hose ?

Ask Brads70. He has a diagram I sent that shows how to convert an E Body to hydraboost brakes and the exact nut/thread count for that fitting is on the sketch. Reason is I am 300miles away from my sketch at present.
