optimum alignment specs?
« on: March 21, 2005 - 03:09:47 PM »
ok I am about ready to go get the cuda aligned (always steered crappy). I set the torsion bar height back to stock plus 1 inch rise. Took off the air shocks and using only 1 inch longer shackles. Ok so now what is the optimum alignment specs to make this thing stay in its own lane? what about extra caster? Any tricks to tell the guy to do?

it depends how you drive , on power steering cars & always go fo rmax castor just to get some feel , the camber should in in at the top but if you corner hard all the time more camber is better , toe in is 1/8 -3/16 depending on tire width

Never corner hard but this car has never had a good feel to it and has always wondered or jump on tar strips. Feels like p/s is overpowered no road feel to it

from new it has felt loose. Never been wrecked...rebuilt total front suspension twice...replaced steering gear box 3 times ..just put in new one last month ...no change.... All my other mopars drove normal (light road feel but went straight) we even had frame checked for tweaking

even with radials on stock rims it was better but not good ...with bias ....scary and I have to run bias at the moment too
