aluminum roller rockers...any good?

The Crane aluminum roller rockers have been good for me for the last 12 years.

Really depends who makes them T&D are premium quality , not many others I would use in a street build .

IF u r using them in a street motor and need durability i would suggest stainless..if a roller street application then u def want a high quality rocker,,,i use RAS stainless rockers,,a little pricey but u get what u pay 4....................

   I believe he mentioned for street use. I would only consider aluminum if they are bushed. The
aluminum wears and then you pay big bucks to save them (if they can be saved).  With a bushing, you press out
the old bush and install new. Resize to shaft.

also you dont want rollorized shaft rockers,,,,,,no oil pressure..

ok, but I've got aluminum Crane Gold rollers that are seeing solid roller cam  .625 lift and 470psi open pressure springs, and for
12 years they seem to be performing flawlessly. I rarely have to adjust valve lash any more.

after there set thats what i experianced too,,,the myth about constantly adj solid lifters is just that..a myth,,same for my last 2 cars..WITH good quality componets..and of course no componet failuires...

Also, and obviously I'm biased, lash adjustment is necessary due to metal wear. Since synthetic oil flows quicker at startup, and lubricates better, I think
thats another reason why my lash has rarely needed adjustment. For last 7 years, I might have to make a minor adjustment to one or two at the most.
And I may have just been being too picky when I adjusted them in the first place.

Well, street use can mean a lot of things. It can mean "grocery getter", or, defend the
Mopar honor against the new Camaros and Mustangs at all costs!.
