AAR Gas Tank Question
« on: June 25, 2013 - 09:49:14 PM »
I'm in the process of getting my AAR up and running.  I removed the gas tank and looked inside and it looks rusty.   I pounded all over the outside and it seems solid, no soft spots.  Any idea if it can be reconditioned?  How much would it cost vs buying a new one?

Thanks,
~Shawn

Just get a new tank and straps and J-Bolts... It's worth it. Paint it and be on your way.

Get a new sending unit too.. Might as well do it right. :twocents:

New ones are very reasonable...just throw your old one as far away as possible :2cents:

No need to paint a new tank. If you do paint it, people will just think you painted your old rusty one. :2cents:
