Thanks for the replies about ".. whipping back-forth-back-forth.." and that the stage 3 rebuild would/should be OK.   My steering wheel that I've settled on (about 15 years ago) is 11.5" diameter.. the old 14" Tuff wheel was too big, then i tried a 10" Grant (deep dish.. was extremely faster but too much hands crossing over each other/interference... the 11.5" Superior brand wheel is perfect for competition autocross, as well as road course lapping events (it does partially cross over the speedometer and tach, but you get used to that... the mph isn't any concern, and the rpms you learn to "listen" to the engine, and rev-limiter also assures not over-revving).
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

Geting ready to send a box I bought a while ago to them. What are the dimensions of the shaft for small and large sector? I will be ordering the fast ratio arms from them at the same time.

I bought a stage 2 from Firm Feel. I got it in large sector shaft for ease of replacement parts. I have both fast ratio arms. I bought the steering support sector bearing. I haven't installed any of this yet, because I want to re-weld my K member and add gussets first. Many people say just re-welding the K and adding gussets alone does a word of wonders for their cars alone. There is a lot of flex in these old beasts!

My stage 3 just showed up today.

They didn't give me very much for the 2nd core. Said the sector shaft had pitting on it.
