How hard would this be?

Saw this post on Facebook a few days ago. Would love to do the same thing. Question is, for that would know, how hard would it be to put the interior in a 70 chally? I'm assuming a lot of cutting and welding etc, but would it really?

I'm not sure how hard it would be to retro fit that in a '70 Chally, but it would be a pain in the a$$ to keep clean.  Ask me how I know...

Wow! That is one cool Challenger! I seen it done to a Coronet, but never a Challenger before. Pictures of the Coronet in this thread:

There was a fairly local guy at Moparfest  :canada: about 3-4 yrs ago with a PERFECT body transfer of a 68 Charger onto a new hemi Charger underbody. The guy wasn't a pro and if memory serves, he was actually a farmer. I talked to him about it and he said that basically, they lowered the 68 body onto the cut down new one and cut/fabbed whatever they needed to, to do it! The car was black and perfect and it was exactly what the dummies running Mother Mopar SHOULD have built as the new Charger. It's do-able and you don't need to be Chip Foose, either.

The exterior on these cars is perfect from leaving the factory. Interior and drivetrain could use some work for a daily driver so I support that part of the resto in the right situations. Sadly no footage of engine bay in all of that video. Mic also cut out.

I wonder why he cut out his voice? Could it be because it was high and squeaky from all of the roid use?

That is a nice Challenger. I wonder if he used factory power window setups or if they go up slow and down fast when using the aftermarket stuff. Any links to any videos of this car in action?

Did they cut the bottom to match the wheelbase? Is there any build pictures of this car anywhere? Would love to see those.

By navigating to the direct poster on youtube and finding his uploaded videos I was able to find out a little more. Only info I could find on this build:

From what I can tell he didn't do an entire floor pan/drive train swap that are common on the charger/300 c platform into older chargers(several builds been done this way). He is running an RMS type front suspension, 4 link rear, 5.7 hemi, 2010 charger dash/console, all appears functional, seats (modified floor pan/tracks) using 2010 charger seats, custom door panels, some custom exterior work.

That is all I was able to tell from his videos.
