Dog buries it's friend

Some say it was burying for food later on. My experiences with dogs lead me to believe otherwise. The more peple I know, the more I love my dogs.

I don't believe it was for food either. We had a couple dogs, and when the female died we buried her in the back yard. Well the male kept getting out of his kennel (losing fur and sometimes skin doing so) to go lay on her grave. Dogs are usually what people should strive to be.

:iagree:  People should learn from animals.  That's really sad about the little dog.  :(

Dogs can really be lifelong true friends.

Yeah, real sad.  Sorry to hear.  :(

My last dog was literally my best friend.  He was up with me when I went to work, was there when I got back late at night from going to night school.  Always knew when I was in a bad mood to stay away.  When I was sad he would just come over and put his head on my lap and just look at me.  Was always in a good mood and ready to play.  I still get teary when I think of Lucky.  :-[

IF we were all like dogs....we would be loyal, happy to see each other, be playful and there when your needed. Someone once said that it is no coincidence that DOG is another word backwards

It's always nice when the dog finishes licking his butt and then jumps up in your lap and gives you a big wet kiss!! Man's best friend!!  :roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

Dogs are usually what people should strive to be.

This is one of the best bits of philosophy I've ever read.
