Update on the lean condition... It was a header leak on the tube with the gauge sensor.

Good to find the issue! I never would have suspected that? Was it making noise? Like how did you discover it?  ( just learning...)

It wasn't noticeable to me initially.  I am sure the bolts had loosed up as the heat cycled on the heads, but it was enough to evidently pull fresh air in on the cylinders that weren't firing.  I had my head so wrapped up in getting the electrical sorted out and the ECU updated   (and working again) that I just wasn't listening to the motor.

I really don't have anything new to add.  The winter stalled me out again this year, but I am hoping to get back into the swing here this week.  Next on my list is to add a small fuse box to allow for power to the accessories not directly controlled by the ISIS system.   Things like the radio, heater fan, and dome light.  Right before winter, I did get the core electrical all solid and ended up flashing my XFI ECU from version 1.0 to 2.01.   There was a bit of a learning process that went on during that, but glad I did.  Made me much more comfortable about the fuel injection system and how it works.

I went ahead and ordered my 3 cell unit today. I would call the order in and ask for Jay. Tell them you saw this thread on the forum and ask for a promo code. They will give you 10% off. I thought I would pass it along.
