New car for my better half.
« on: July 06, 2013 - 08:26:11 AM »
Recently picked up a Subaru BRZ for my sweetie. Not hugely powerful but the brakes are gonna last forever - No need to slow down for corners!  :grinyes:
Handling is phenomenal.

I actually saw one of those today on my way home from work. I had no idea what it was. it was for sale. It was orange. I recognized the headlight/front end immediately in your picture. I don't think that they are common in my area of Nebraska.

You might have seen a Toyota FRS, those are much more common.  The car was a joint venture and I believe only 1/10th of them are Subaru branded.

You may be right Jamie, though the Subraru BRZ is sold in the USA, the FRS is more common, in Canada, the BRZ is more common. The local Toyota dealer still has not received one FRS to sell. Goes under the Scion badging I think.
A friend of mine was in Phoenix recently and said the Subaru lot had a couple dozen BRZ's.

nice.

I love the look of those cars. I was hoping they had more power, but I guess not.

It's a good looking car. It really takes something to stand out in a sea of the same nowadays, and actually make you notice. I guess that's why it caught my eye! I can't tell by the badge on the front of his what I saw? Don't know if I would know the difference? I know, I'm lame! lol.
