« on: July 04, 2013 - 08:54:22 AM »
Camera clock says 12 years ago Utube  clock says 5 either way a must see . Not crazy as this any more police have cracked down big time . Now they close main cruzing streets and they are out with tow trucks . Still a great time though .

Looking back 2001 is about right . I was right there on the corner in a convience store parking lot . There was a supper market next store people were going in and buying bleach then dumping it in the road .Best car night of my life . Cops were getting lost in the smoke as they were writing tickets . Finally about 12 or 1 they shut things down by closing traffic to one lane then chasing the spectators of . I remember a cop pointing in my face telling me get in my car and leave or he was taking me in . He ment it too . as I got into my car he moved onto the next guy .Me and the guy I was with still talk about that night all the time , :burnout: :burnout:

Man that looks like a blast.
I have not seen crowds like that in Colorado since the mid 90's.
Ave nights are so much fun!

Thanks for sharing!

There was THOUSANDS of people there the video is only showing a small area . That's a 6 lane road and the crowd had to cover a mile both sides . Across the street was bikes doing wheel stands and all kinds of burn outs . Those bike guys were crazy as hell . The next year there was a fight at that corner and every one wanted a front roll view . everyone was crowding in . Next thing you know there was a fire truck there spraying the crowd with water to disperse people .No one hurt that I heard of and it is another great memory . Like I said earlier it's a lot  calmer now but still a lot of fun cruzing after the show .
