Is it possible to trim the 72s I have to fit my 71 gills I welded in?

Not sure what you mean ? The large inner fender splash shield that protect the door hinges are the same from 1970 to 1974....The 71 louvers have no affect on them. The shield sits right in between #2 and #3 louver.

Ok, I noticed that they were selling 71 specific inner fender splash guards at Roseville Mopar.

That could be the headlight inner fender shields....They are 71 Cuda specific because of the four headlight system.

CORRECT these would be for the Head lamp area, the rears as Alan pointed out are all the Same.
