...I have been in the cigarette/tobacco business since 1966, cigarettes were 25 cents per pack or $1.94 per carton...over the last 47 years I have heard the same people complain about rising prices over and over again, bottom line, prices are not going to go down...quit now and save the money for something else in your life, your MOPAR, your kids, your grandkids etc
...many customers have elected to use RYO, (roll your own) and make their own cigarettes which brings the price down to approximately $10. per carton in Indiana...a 1lb bag of tobacco produces approximately 2 cartons of cigarettes and we sell the RYO anywhere from $13. to $20. per bag...you need to buy tubes also, but it is a VERY cheap alternative...E-cigs are not taxed yet, but the gov't is looking at this closely due to the potential loss of tax revenue from cigarettes and tobacco as the popularity of E-cigs increases
PS...I have been involved in the tobacco business for 47 years and have NEVER tasted a tobacco product of any kind, nor does anyone in my family use tobacco
