July 14th Show in Delavan, WI.
« on: July 08, 2013 - 05:34:23 PM »
This is my first time going but sounds like a good show. Sunday July 14th at the Lake Lawn Resort, with show being right by the lake. Spendy place to stay but have to make the wife happy. They also have 2 road tours on Saturday. The am one includes a stop at a winery, pm one stops at a brewery?

I was just out there this weekend.  Very nice area, just up the road from Lake Geneva.  I am like an hour from there.

If you get up there this Sunday stop and say hi. Sorry, not bringing my Challenger, bringing a red Corvette. Minnesota license plate reads NEW1955 and you'll know why...

Some may want to attend next year... as it had about 650 cars registered, plus 275 that didn't register I was told. So 925+ cars parked on the grass "on the shoreline" of Lake Lawn Resort. What a great venue for a show. Those boating took the time to put slowly down the shoreline gawking at all the cars, toms of spectators, a twin Hemi engine dragster fired up, plus some plaques & awards. A really NICE show to consider for 2014, and it's called "Cars that Time Forgot".
