Dark Horse,
I live near Scranton Pa. Where are you from??
The price depends on the condition. It must be a rebuildable 70--383--HP. Assembly date around the  first week of November.
Thanks
AL

I have a complete 383 that came out of my 70 challenger R/T. never checked the date code but the #s match. it has been rebuil though. 40 over trw flat tops 10-10 crank(steel) windage tray mildon high volume oil pump, balanced, has a elderbrock torquer on it with 906 heads and high performance exhaust manifolds. bottom end was rebuilt and ran in my 69 charger ahs about 12000 miles on it heads were never done and has 2 burnt exhaust valves. pulled it because I finished my 440. also has a six pack cam in it and double roller timing chain.

Hey Pandamarie,
Please check the assembly date code on the pad. It's on the left side of engine (under the dist.) let me know what it is. Where is the motor now(state).
Thanks,
AL

Hi Al.
The date code on this motor is 5-70 will that due for you? also I belive the heads were switched at one time to 906s from a 69 charger. you would have nothing to due to this motor but exhaust gaskets and a valve job. if your interested email me at
