70 cuda project
« on: June 29, 2013 - 09:21:38 PM »
Hi everyone.  My name is Dave.  I introduced myself about a year ago in the newbie section.  I have been away from home for the last year working and living out of a hotel and having no computer.  I wanted to show you the progress on my car.  And I have quite a few questions for you as well.  I am in the process of doing searches on this site to see if they were already asked or posted.  First question is, did all cudas have the call out hockey stripe?  Do they list it on the fender tag?  Because mine didn't say it.  Second is, what brake conversion kit should I go with?  I want disc brakes.  I have the motor rebuilt, alternator rebuilt, starter rebuilt, new water pump, transmission rebuilt, and the body work all done (except for the black on the tail).  I don't know what to take on from here.  Should it be brakes or maybe interior before I start putting it back together?  Here are a few pics,  I have alot more if anyone wants to see anything else.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Thanks 'Cuda Hunter for the help.  I am going to take more pics of the car and post them.  I have some from beginning to now.  I have a fender tag and title but didn't find build sheet.  Last place to check is in the seats.
