74 Cuda Mouldings??
« on: August 07, 2013 - 12:42:26 AM »
Looking to install chrome trim for the door tops and for the tail panel. I know the rear tail panel pieces attach with what looks like spring clips. But what does the door trim attach with. My car didn't come with them and the car is already painted? Also where is the best place to buy them from. I saw that classic industries has the tail moulding 158.99 plus you need to buy the install kit. And the door moulding for 164.99 which includes install kit. are these mouldings any good and are they easy to install. thanks for any help you can give!!

Just make sure the moldings are manufactured by Metro. They are the best available.

The belt moldings on the doors require studs to use the proper clips. You can buy "screw-in" type studs that work easily, I've also have attached the clips with pop rivets in the past, but the studs are much easier.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !
